Halperns’ will participate in the 2010 Louisiana Foodservice EXPO at New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, from Saturday, August 7 through Monday, August 9. This is the premier foodservice event for the Gulf Coast; last year’s EXPO drew 11,000 people who shopped nearly 500 booths.

The Louisiana Foodservice EXPO, sponsored by the Louisiana Restaurant Association (LRA) and co-sponsored by the Mississippi Hospitality & Restaurant Association, the Alabama Restaurant Association and the Louisiana Hotel & Lodging Association, is the largest and most attended showcase of its kind in the region. A wide variety of special events and educational seminars await show attendees.

During the EXPO, more than 400 vendors will display a full range of food products, foodservice equipment, and allied products/services used in restaurants and foodservice operations – all under one roof. Everything from food and beverages to furniture and equipment to tableware and uniforms can be found on the exhibit floor. Show specials and new products will also abound in order to provide attendees with the chance to preview what’s hot. Halperns’ will be among these exhibitors, at booth # 1315, to expose guests to the finest meat, game, poultry and seafood products available.

New Orleans Morial Convention Center is located at 900 Convention Center Boulevard in New Orleans. Registration fees are $20 per attendee through July 30 and $35 onsite at the EXPO.

The mission of the Louisiana Restaurant Association is to enhance and ensure the growth and development of the foodservice industry in Louisiana by working together as an industry to improve the political, economic, and social environment in which the industry conducts business. The LRA will develop and administer programs and services in order to continue its role as the indispensable resource for the members of the Association.
